1. What the service is
cypruscardeals.com is a marketplace for used cars in Cyprus. Registered users can post ads for vehicles they own or are authorised to sell. The website operator (see Imprint) provides the platform only; purchase agreements are made directly between buyer and seller. The operator is not a party to the sale and gives no warranty for the vehicles listed.
2. Posting an ad
You do not need an account. When you post without one, you receive a private link that is the only key to your ad: keep it to yourself, because anyone who has it can change or delete the ad. You may instead sign in with Google, and your ads are then tied to that account. You are responsible for everything posted from your browser or your account. One account per person or business.
3. Ads
Cars only. The ad must describe the actual vehicle: real photos of the car for sale, the real asking price, correct mileage, year and equipment. One ad per vehicle. Dealers must select “Dealer” as seller type. An ad may carry at most ten photos. No contact details or links inside photos or descriptions other than the fields provided. Ads that are misleading, duplicated, unrelated to cars, offensive, or infringe third-party rights are not published or are removed.
4. Review before publishing
Every new ad is checked by a person before it goes live, usually within minutes and at the latest within 24 hours. If you later change the car itself — photos, description, make, model, year or mileage — the ad is checked again before the new version appears; the old version stays online in the meantime. Changing the price or smaller details takes effect straight away. We may ask for the registration document to confirm details, shorten or correct descriptions, or refuse an ad without giving reasons.
5. Price and paid boosts
Posting an ad is free. After posting, you can optionally book a paid boost: VIP (shown above all other ads, VIP badge) or Top (shown above all free ads, TOP badge), each for a fixed number of days at the price shown before payment. Prices are in euro and include VAT where applicable. The boost starts as soon as the payment is confirmed; while the ad is still in review, the days already count. Payment is made through viva.com (Viva Payments), by card or PayPal. We never see or store your payment details.
5a. Delivery, cancellation and refunds
A boost is a digital service delivered immediately on this website — there is no physical delivery. Because the service starts at once, you agree that the 14-day right of withdrawal ends when the boost becomes active. You get a full refund if your ad is rejected in review, if the boost could not be activated, or if you were charged twice. If we remove your ad because it breaks these terms, the boost ends without refund. Deleting your ad or marking it as sold ends the boost early; unused days are not refunded. To ask for a refund, contact us through the details in the Imprint within 30 days of payment, stating the car and the payment date. Approved refunds are paid back to the same payment method within 14 days.
6. Your content
You keep the rights to your photos and text and grant the operator a non-exclusive licence to display, resize and promote them on this website and its social channels while the ad is online. Confirm that you have the right to use every photo you upload.
7. Removal and liability
You can mark your ad as sold or delete it at any time — through your private link, or under “My ads” if you signed in. We may remove ads that break these terms and close accounts that repeatedly do so. The platform is provided “as is”; we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or the accuracy of ads posted by users. Liability is limited to intent and gross negligence to the extent permitted by law.
8. Privacy
How we handle your data is described in the Privacy policy. Your town and whether you sell privately or as a dealer are shown publicly on your ad. The registration number you may enter when you start is never published; it is used only to check that the vehicle is real. Your phone number is not written into the page: it is revealed to a visitor only when they press “Show phone number” or the WhatsApp button, and only if you allowed that. Your e-mail address is never shown.
9. Law
Cypriot law applies. Place of jurisdiction, where legally permissible, is Paphos, Cyprus.
